Under the hood of SIP CALC

Experienced builders value clarity in how calculations are made.
This section explains the key principles behind SIP CALC — including how it estimates panel quantities, the assumptions it makes, and how the tool can be adjusted for different types of projects. It also highlights the tool’s current limitations.
While SIP CALC provides a solid starting point for planning, for self-builders i always recommend consulting with a qualified engineer before building.
